HROMADSKYI Tsentr Nova Heneratsiia
“Hromadskyi Tsentr “Nova Heneratsiia” or New Generation Kherson is an NGO from Kherson that helps communities and organizations grow by promoting a culture of co-creation, non-formal education, and the power of self-organization. They specialise in training programs on advocacy, civic engagement, and project design, and also provide consulting services to civil society organisations.
“Nova Heneratsiia” has felt the impact of reduced donor funding in Ukraine. After Kherson came under occupation and some of their resources destroyed, the organization was forced to relocate to Ivano-Frankivsk, having lost both its office and website.
With new funding, “Nova Heneratsiia” plans to create a new website, cover office rent, and buy new laptops. They also aim to invest in their team by offering English lessons and first aid trainings.
Spring of Hope
Nineteen years ago, “Spring of Hope Ukraine” began as an initiative to protect women at risk of human trafficking, especially migrant workers and internally displaced people. Since Russia’s invasion in 2014, the NGO has expanded into humanitarian aid, supporting women and their families affected by conflict. Today, its focus is also on developing women’s civic activism and leadership. In 2023, the organization underwent major changes, including new leadership and expanded operations. They plan to use this funding for further institutional strengthening, including improving HR and financial management, setting up an archiving system, and expanding their geographic reach.
Nearly twenty years ago, the NGO “Spring of Hope Ukraine” was founded as an initiative to protect women at risk of human trafficking, particularly female migrants and migrant workers. Since Russia’s invasion in 2014, the organization has expanded its focus to include humanitarian response and protection, supporting women and their families affected by the war. Today, its work also focuses on promoting civic activism, leadership, and women’s economic empowerment, as well as combating gender-based violence.
In 2023, the organization underwent significant changes, including an updated management system and expanded geographic reach. A flexible grant from Oxfam helps strengthen the organization by improving long-term planning, enhancing staff and financial management, and establishing a better archiving system.
Women's Center
'Support, Protection, and Care'
The Women’s Center “Support, Protection, and Care” is an organization that offers psychological support, information, and social reintegration services to women who have experienced incarceration, survivors of gender-based violence, HIV-positive women, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Right now, limited funding for long-term projects makes it hard to plan activities consistently. With this funding, the organization hopes to grow stronger by updating its strategic plans and providing staff training, especially in leadership and psychological support.
Romani Zbora
Romani Zbora is an NGO in Odesa, Ukraine, supporting Roma communities, displaced persons, women, and youth through psychosocial, legal, and educational services. Responding to the 2022 invasion of Ukraine, they have provided emergency humanitarian assistance, psychosocial support, educational activities, and training programs, all designed to improve the quality of life and opportunities for the most vulnerable people in the Odesa region. Due to limited flexible funding, they have struggled to invest in core operations and capacity strengthening. Through this funding, they aim to strengthen their organization by improving monitoring systems, expanding media and donor outreach, and training staff in fundraising and financial management.
Charitable Foundation “I CAN”
Founded in September 2023, Charitable Foundation “I CAN” is a Women-Led, Women's Rights Organisation based in Kharkiv, Ukraine, supporting displaced women and gender-based violence (GBV) survivors through psychosocial support, awareness campaigns, and legal support. For more than a year and a half, ICAN has worked to support thousands of GBV survivors, operating with minimal funding and equipment. Further work is needed to provide a range of support to women the Kharkiv Oblast who face risks due to GBV.
With this fund, they can expand their work to reach more women and vulnerable communities, purchase a diagnostic device for health checks and referrals for GBV survivors, build the financial literacy of women in their communities, and raise awareness on GBV.
Democracy Development Center
A women-led organisation, Democracy Development Center (DDC) advocates for human rights and promotes inclusive approaches to public governance. For years, DDC has been working on raising awareness about sexual and reproductive exploitation of women and on combating them both at the practical and advocacy levels. They hold awareness-raising initiatives on domestic violence, human rights, gender equality, engaging women in rural areas, women with disabilities, youth, and local authorities. DDC is involved in the Women, Peace and Security, as well as the Youth Peace and Security agendas in Ukraine.
Since the invasion in 2022, the organisation has also taken part in humanitarian efforts supporting internally displaced people. DDC aspires to bring greater visibility to gender-climate issues in Ukraine, which they see as a gap in local development strategies. With support from this fund, they plan to convene a range of actors to discuss the development of Ukraine’s National Action Plan on Women Peace and Security which is due to be updated by the government in 2025. They also aim to train their staff and partners on environmental security through a gender-sensitive lens in order to strengthen their engagement on Youth, Peace and Security in Ukraine
Fight For Right
Fight For Right is an NGO from Kyiv that defends the rights of people with disabilities across Ukraine. The organization works to ensure that girls and women with disabilities have a voice in decision-making at national, regional, and local levels. Fight For Right strengthens their leadership through personal and professional development support and by cooperating with public authorities to advance thematic legislative initiatives on disability rights.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Fight For Right has launched an emergency response to support Ukrainians with disabilities through evacuation assistance, psychological support, and access to essential resources. The organization also promotes accessibility in public spaces, educates communities on human rights, non-discrimination and inclusivity, and continues to build a strong, empowered network of national disability rights defenders.

Club Eney
Club Eney has been supporting people affected by substance use in Ukraine for 24 years. The organization focuses on protecting women affected by substance use and sex workers, ensuring their safety, and helping them access essential services. Club Eney also supports survivors of violence through psychological help, legal referrals, and humanitarian aid, including hygiene kits and essential items for children.
The organization raises awareness about different forms of violence and helps women recognize and address these issues. Club Eney also works with the public, offering trainings for medical workers, police, and teachers on substance use, HIV, stigma, and discrimination.

Feminist Workshop
Founded in 2014 in Lviv, Feminist Workshop is an NGO dedicated to building and supporting the feminist community in Lviv and across Ukraine. Feminist Workshop focuses on combating gender stereotypes, spreading feminist ideas, and fighting all forms of discrimination. Their programs cover reproductive health, sexual education, and women’s labor and economic rights, while being fully LGBTQIA+ inclusive. The organization also promotes body positivity and challenges unrealistic beauty standards.
In response to the full-scale invasion in 2022, the organization expanded its work to provide housing and free babysitting for IDPs, elderly care, and psychological support for the community.

Green-Landiya
Green-Landiya is a public organization operating in the Kharkiv and Poltava regions. In over 4 years of operation, it has implemented more than 30 programs—many of them focused on women and women’s rights. The organization works to strengthen the voices of women in communities, create safe spaces, organize trainings, and provide legal and psychological support to women affected by the war. Thanks to Green-Landia, more than 20,000 women and girls have received psychosocial assistance.
Green-Landiya also supports mothers and families by distributing hygiene kits, medicines, food, and other essential supplies. The organization helps women access medical and reproductive health services, supports families raising children with disabilities, and provides humanitarian assistance to internally displaced people.

Gender Stream
Gender Stream is a feminist human rights organization protecting the rights of LGBTQIA+ individuals in Ukraine and promoting systemic changes toward an inclusive, fair, and democratic society.
The organization is actively advocating for House Bill 13 597, which strengthens accountability for hate crimes and adds sexual orientation and gender identity to the list of protected grounds. Gender Stream also collaborates with the National Police of Ukraine, providing training to ensure respectful and tolerant interactions with diverse communities.
In addition, the organization works on gender equality and inclusion in state and security services, monitors and prevents hate crimes, supports the development of women’s and queer activism, and conducts research to inform its advocacy and programs.

TENET Center for Social Transformations
TENET is an NGO dedicated to supporting Roma women through educational, advisory, and social services, particularly for those who have experienced violence. The organization focuses on raising awareness about gender equality, challenging stereotypes and discrimination, and developing leadership skills among Roma youth.
TENET engages in advocacy to ensure equal rights and opportunities for women in the Roma community, works to create conditions for their active participation in public and political life. Through its programs, the organization empowers Roma women, strengthens their voices, and fosters inclusive and safe spaces for personal and professional growth.
